KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Every Kansas City Monarchs home game in 2026 and 2027 will be free to watch on over-the-air television with no paywall, blackouts, or account information required.

The four-time league champion Monarchs are continuing their partnership with Gray Television and KCTV5 to broadcast every home game on KSMO Channel 62 in Kansas City. This marks the second year for the partnership.

Fans can also watch Monarchs baseball for free on KSMO’s sister stations in Wichita and Topeka, Kansas. WIBW-TV in Topeka will broadcast the games on channel 13.6. In Wichita, KWCH-TV will air the games on channel 12.4.

The agreement includes broadcasts for the Monarchs’ 50 regular-season home games and additional home playoff games for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. Along with the games, Monarchs fans will be able to see more advertising including in the partnership – highlighting games, theme nights, players, and community initiatives.

“The Monarchs are a Kansas City favorite thanks to their exceptional play, proud history, and the impact they have across our community,” said Curtis Miles, Vice President and General Manager of KCTV5. “Viewers constantly told us how much they loved watching the games last season, and we can’t wait to share that excitement again.”

The team plays in the American Association of Professional Baseball – which is comprised of eleven other teams stretching through the center of the United States. The Monarchs will face teams in Illinois, Winnipeg, and even head down south to Texas throughout the months of May through September.

Every Monarchs home game will be available to stream on the KCTV5 app. Fans can use the KCTV5 app on any device, including computers, smartphones and connected TVs.
