Children: 2 and under do NOT require a ticket, however if they will occupy a seat, they must have a ticket.

Entry: stadium gates open 1 hour prior to game time (unless specified otherwise)

Exchanges/Refunds: There are NO refunds or exchanges

The Monarchs are not responsible for tickets that are shared or resold, after the initial transaction takes place at the Kansas City Monarchs ticket office, online at monarchsbaseball.com or its ticket sales partners. Kansas City Monarchs management reserves the right to revoke a ticket at any time. All tickets purchased within 10 days of the game will be left at the Will Call window at Monarchs Stadium located at Gate B or will be emailed to your phone. The Kansas City Monarchs are in the process of going digital so we prefer the email method. 

Food/Drink: American Association league rules prohibit food and drinks from being brought into the stadium. Fans are, however, allowed to bring in one (1) unopened bottle of water.

Rain/Weather: In the event five (5) innings of a game are not completed, except when the home team is in the lead at the end of 4 ½ innings, your ticket will be good for any future regular season home game and may be exchanged at the Kansas City Monarchs box office for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to availability. No refunds, no exchanges of expired tickets, except as above. No exchanges will be made for complimentary tickets. Note: if a game is called due to inclement weather or other circumstances after five (5) innings (4 ½ if the Monarchs are ahead) have been played, a game is considered “official,” and tickets will not be valid for exchange.

Group Tickets for games rained out or postponed due to rain/weather may be exchanged one of two ways:

  1. Group members may retain their tickets and exchange them individually for a future regular season game in accordance with the individual ticket policy outlined above.
  2. If the outing cannot be rescheduled, then the number of tickets purchased will be reimbursed in the form of ticket vouchers good for any game(s) later that season. (I.E. if you purchased 50 tickets, you would receive 50 ticket vouchers of equal value to redeem for any game(s) later that season. Vouchers do not have to be redeemed all at once.

Group Packages including food

If an official game is not recorded due to inclement weather (4 ½ innings) and the food for your package was not served—the entire outing (tickets & food) can be moved to a future game during the current season or for a future game in the following season

If an official game is not recorded due to inclement weather (4 ½ innings) and the food for your package was served—the ticket portion of your outing can be moved to a future game during the current season or for a future game during the following season, but the food portion would be eligible to be rescheduled.

Promotions for games rained out or postponed due to rain/weather

Distribution of promotional items is for fans in attendance only. Fans will receive one promotional item per ticket!

Rain Policy Terminology

Rain Delay: a game that is under a rain delay is an official delay but may resume play later that day. Tickets cannot be exchanged as a side effect of a rain delay.

Rainout/Postponed: a game that is rained out or postponed will not be played that day due to inclement weather or other circumstances. In the event of a rain out or postponement, your ticket will be good for any future regular season game and may be exchanged at the Monarchs box office for a ticket or equal or lesser value, subject to availability.

How do I redeem vouchers?

Any voucher that is not a game ticket can be exchanged at the Monarchs box office located at Gate B (north side of the stadium) during normal business hours or over the phone by calling our Ticket Office at 913.328.5618

What happens if a game is rained out?

If a game is rained out, your ticket can be exchanged for any future Monarchs home game. The ticket can be exchanged at the Monarchs box office during normal business hours. The rain ticket must be present for the exchange to occur.

Where is Will Call located?

Will Call is located at Gate B right outside left field. Will Call will open two (2) hours prior to game time.

Can I bring food or beverages into the stadium?

NO outside food or beverages are allowed in the stadium per American Association regulations. If the weather is hot enough, we do allow one (1) unopened bottle of water.

Does a child need a ticket?

Children two (2) and under do not need a ticket and are considered a lap child. Anyone over the age of two (2) will be required to have a ticket to enter the stadium.

Is smoking allowed inside the stadium?

Smoking is not allowed inside of Legends Field. Those who choose to smoke, vape, use e-cigarettes must proceed outside of the stadium gates with proof of their ticket to get back in.
