2022 FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES
There’s fundraising, and then there’s FUNdraising! Let us help you make money for your group or organization today by learning about how you can be a part of the fun!
The Kansas City Monarchs Hospitality team is now meeting with local/regional non-profit, 501C organizations, about the opportunity to raise funds staffing concessions and catering operations at Legends Field Stadium in the Village West retail development located in Kansas City, KS. Qualified groups would receive monetary contributions, that are competitive with similar programs at all other venues in the Kansas City market, in return for their part in delivering to our guests a truly Legendary Game Day Experience!
This program has proven to be the best return on your time invested to meeting your charities’ financial goals. Rain or Shine, Win or Lose – your group will receive minimum contributions guaranteed for their involvement; however, you should expect much more.
Groups must meet the following requirements:
· IRS Federal Tax ID Notification and completed W-9
· At least 10 volunteers available for an event.
· Most positions require volunteers to be at least 18 years of age, however there are occasionally opportunities for 16-17-year-old participants as well.
Take it from a group who’s done it before! Here’s a testimonial from Lori with Piper’s Booster Club.
Working concessions during the inaugural season of the KC Monarchs at Legends Field was an amazing opportunity for Piper Booster Club. We were able to work hand in hand with 24 of our own school and local community teams, clubs and groups to raise over fifty thousand dollars. Yes, I said over $50,000 in just one summer! Piper Booster Club was then able to provide those monies in the form of grants to the groups and with the Piper School district.
Our volunteer groups enjoyed gathering together outside their normal settings. Coaches and sponsors were able to see leadership and cooperation among their high school participants and families. Groups were pleasantly surprised at the large amount of tips Piper Booster Club earned and dispersed to their programs.
We worked hard, but the work was not hard!
Piper Booster Club is happy to be invited back for the 2022 season and groups are already volunteering to be a part of fundraising this season. We look forward to getting back out to the ballpark with the fans and other staff. Management was always helpful and understanding as we were learning together.
We anticipate this season to be even more successful than last and would highly encourage groups to consider joining in on the FUNdraising.
Best of luck!”– Lori (Piper Booster Club summer volunteer coordinator)
